Flight training will take place in any one of our new Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft, each equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics and coupled with the GFC700 autopilot. All Sierra Charlie Aviation training aircraft meet the FAA requirements for Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA).
Students can accelerate their training time by utilizing our ALSIM Flight Simulator, an FAA approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD), for up to 50 hours of the 250 flight hours required for the Commercial Pilot License.
Your Commercial Pilot Certificate checkride is conducted by a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE): an experienced pilot authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to give the oral and practical flight tests for pilot certificates and ratings.
