Pilot Training Academy in Phoenix
If you live in Phoenix and are looking for a pilot training academy, then Sierra Charlie Aviation may have just what you need. Let us get you in the air, and let us do it as quickly as possible.
About Sierra Charlie
Sierra Charlie Aviation operates under FAA 14 CFR Part 61 rules. Our program is simpler than a FAR Part 141 program. It is ideal for students who are not available for full-time flight training or need a more customizable program to help them meet their goals.
Our team of Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) has extensive piloting experience—from corporate, to World War II aircraft demonstration, to bush piloting in Alaska – giving them exceptional ability to teach and a capacity to diversify training based on the individual needs of our students.
What It Means to Be a Cessna Center
Sierra Charlie Aviation is a certified Cessna Pilot Center (CPC), a specially selected FAR Part 61 flight school that represents top-quality, professional flight training, and has been honored with AOPA Flight Training Excellence Awards in 2016 and 2017 as one of the top flight schools in the country. In 2019, we were honored as the Best Flight School I the Western Pacific Region.
As an approved Cessna Pilot Center, one of a limited number of Cessna Aircraft Company-approved flight schools, Sierra Charlie Aviation incorporates the Cessna-approved computer-based curriculum to teach students the most up-to-date concepts and that we cover each task that will be tested by an FAA examiner.
Our training fleet includes six brand new Cessna 172 Skyhawks that are G1000 equipped and coupled with GFC700 autopilot. Your glass cockpit training will be transferable to every glass cockpit aircraft, from a Cirrus SR-22, to a TBM, to a Citation Mustang.
