Accelerated Flight Training Near Phoenix, AZ
If you are looking for accelerated flight training near Phoenix, AZ, consider Sierra Charlie Aviation. We can help you become the best possible pilot with one-on-one instruction tailored to suit your schedule.
High-Quality Pilot Training Program
As an approved Cessna Pilot Center, Sierra Charlie Aviation incorporates the Cessna-approved training curriculum which ensures that you are learning the most up-to-date concepts and that we cover each task that will be tested by an FAA examiner.
Our pilot training program has been rewarded by The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the world’s largest aviation association, for outstanding achievements in the category of Distinguished Flight Schools and Instructors.
The FAR Part 61 training program we currently offer is more flexible than a FAR Part 141 program and enables you to complete your training in an accelerated timeframe. It is ideal for students who don’t have the time to commit to full-time flight training or need a more customized program to help them reach their goals.
Our accelerated training programs are perfect for visitors from out of state. Earn a private pilot’s license in as little as 40 days or an instrument rating in as little as 14 days.
The more often you fly, the faster you’ll earn your license. By flying often, you’ll also avoid becoming rusty from lack of practice. We recommend taking lessons several times per week until you solo and once a week thereafter.
Whether you intend to fly for fun or are planning a career in aviation, earning your Private Pilot Certificate will be the foundation of your entire piloting experience. You should choose a flight school that is flexible enough to meet your unique needs.
High-Quality Training Aircraft
Sierra Charlie Aviation’s growing training fleet includes three Cessna 172 Skyhawks, one round gauge and two that are G1000 equipped and coupled with GFC700 autopilot. Additionally, the fleet includes a Cirrus SR22T, a high-performance aircraft that is equipped with Garmin Perspective Avionics, GFC700 Autopilot, and air conditioning.
The 172 Skyhawk has been in production since the 1950s and is one of the safest general aviation aircraft ever built. It is a great training aircraft primarily because it has lower takeoff and landing speeds and is very forgiving.
Students who learn to fly in a 172 can transfer their knowledge to any other aircraft on Cessna’s production line. With the G1000 integrated avionics suite, a standard in most general aviation aircraft today, students can step up easily into high performance glass cockpit aircraft while saving money on their initial training.
To find out if our pilot training program is right for you, schedule a discovery flight to get acquainted with our instructors. You will enjoy first-hand experience in the pilot’s seat and the standalone lesson will count toward the minimum requirements for your license.
